It’s such a gift–one of the more social aspects of writing–the chance to connect with engaged readers. In the case of David Corbett, he began first as a beloved, excellent writer and teacher. I first heard David speak at Book Passage’s Mystery Writers’ Conference, where I was instantly taken by his intelligence about methods of writing (and reading, frankly). I soon signed up for a class with him, which taught me so much about mystery writing. It was a real gift for him to endorse my first novel, Copy Boy so kindly. It was lovely to recall all that learning in advance of the first Jane Benjamin novel, now that the third of the trilogy is all queued up for a November pub day. Thank you David Corbett! Thank you to all the readers who review books they like.
