My first novel, Copy Boy, published five years ago, into the pandemic. Every planned event was canceled and then reimagined as an online experience. And in that time, I met three authors who share my publisher, She Writes Press: Ashley Sweeney, Gretchen Cherington, and Debra Thomas. We brainstormed ways to meet readers when we couldn’t meet in real life. Then we became a monthly critique group. Then we became sisters. It’s amazing to see all the books we’ve written, six of them since we started meeting. You can see why I’m so honored to hold a free, online meetup with these three writers, in celebration of An Unlikely Prospect’s publication.
You’re invited: Wednesday, August 20, 5-6 pm Pacific Time. Just join us at this link. Our topic? Women (characters) Who Make Good Trouble
