I did quite a happy dance around the desk when I got the news that An Unlikely Prospect was a finalist in the American Fiction Awards in the category of Women’s Fiction. I am proud of this book and its heroine, Sandy Zimmer. She doesn’t start out as any kind of kick-*ass woman but she sure becomes one.
