I woke to the lovely news that An Unlikely Prospect has been shortlisted at the Sarton/Women’s Book Awards for historical fiction.
I was very down yesterday, reading about the demolition at the Washington Post, and so now I am doubly grateful that this book, inspired in part by legendary Post publisher Katherine Graham, has received such kind recognition.
